Who We Are

Chris Pearse: Director / Occupational Therapist

Chris has had a varied career starting life as a ‘farm kid’ and developing into a fully fledged rousabout, working in shearing sheds and on the family farm prior to joining the Australian Army. He served in the Army for ten years creating maps and surveying. On completion of his service he studied Occupational Therapy, graduating in 2005. Since that time he has worked for public health services in New South Wales and Queensland as well as in the private sector. Over the past seventeen years he has gained extensive experience in hospital inpatient, rehab and community settings as well as team leadership and management. Chris created Compass OT as he believes that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in life to their maximum ability.

Outside of work you will find Chris on his hobby farm looking for rain, lost tools, holes in fences, and problems with his old tractor. If not doing any of those things, he enjoys spending time with his family.
